Dragon Swords
In many areas where mythology is still a major part of the local customs and religion, the dragon brings thoughts of terror because of it's super natural powers. Stories of dragons are in many cultures today, but there are common elements in all the stories, no matter where they take place. The dragon is a wise and powerful creature that can either be good or bad.
A dragon sword is one that depicts a dragon somewhere on the sword. Either the blade or handle can be built with an image or carving of a dragon. Just as a real dragon signifies power, a dragon sword is meant to display the power of both the sword and its user.
Dragon swords are one of the more ornate swords available, many times the handles are in the shape of a dragon. Such craftsmanship takes lots of skill and training on behalf of the sword maker. A good quality dragon sword can be obtained for a reasonable price and will usually come in a decorative scabbard for safe storage. Katana swords, Samurai swords and broadswords are often built with the dragon as thier theme, which is still a big part of Chinese and Japanese cultures.
